According to a report on Metro UK, Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is preparing leave the club this summer following his latest snub by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Dean Henderson started a seventh game in a row against Brighton on Sunday to cast further doubt on De Gea’s future at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer reportedly sees Henderson, who is six years younger than De Gea, as the club’s long-term No.1 goalkeeper.
De Gea is expected to push for an exit this summer as he won’t settle for a limited role at the club next season.
The 30-year-old has been at Manchester United for almost a decade but is being offered to some of Europe’s top clubs by his representatives.
Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and his former club Atletico Madrid have all been linked with moves for De Gea, who will likely attract an offer in the region of £40million.
