Jesse Lingard has been enjoying a breath of fresh air since his loan move to West Ham.
Lingard joined the Hammers in the January transfer window, as he struggled for game time under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Since moving out on loan, Lingard has been one of the most in-form players in the Premier League. The 28-year-old has scored five goals since his switch, and was on the scoresheet yet again as the Hammers faced Wolves.
The Manchester United loanee opened the scoring early in the first half, as he ran at the Wolves defence after receiving the ball in his own half. He then coolly placed the ball past a hapless Rui Patricio to open the scoring in the sixth minute.
Lingard was also involved in the second goal for the Hammers as he flicked the ball to Arthur Masuaku, who in turn found Pablo Fornals to double West Ham’s advantage.
With Lingard’s current form, United fans are keen to see the academy product back at the club and can’t believe he wasn’t used by Solskjaer.
