Manchester United offer Vazquez bigger contract after he rejects Real Madrid contract

According to Daily Mail, Manchester United have joined the race to sign Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez.

The 29 year old Spanish winger is set to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season when his contract expires after failing to negotiate a new deal.

Vazquez rejected Real Madrid’s latest offer, which was a three-year deal on a 10 per cent pay cut after their budget took a big hit due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The report claims Manchester United are willing to pay Vazquez more than he currently earns at Real Madrid.

Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Valencia, Sevilla, AC Milan and Napoli are also interested in signing the winger.

Vazquez has made a total of 237 appearances for Real’s first team, scoring 26 goals in the process. His club trophy haul also includes two LaLiga titles and three Champions League crowns.
