Real Madrid refuse to enter into a bidding war for Manchester United transfer target

Spanish side Real Madrid are also in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, who is a key transfer target for Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Barcelona, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea are also reportedly interested in signing the 20 year old striker.

According to Spanish media outlet AS via Daily Mail, Real Madrid do not want to enter into a bidding war for Haaland’s signature – with his agent Mino Raiola drumming up huge interest from Europe’s biggest clubs.

The report claims Real Madrid will look to make a formal offer to Dortmund if the club do decide to negotiate and for that to happen, Haaland would have to express formally his intention to leave Dortmund in the upcoming transfer window.

Raiola was in Spain on Thursday for talks with Real Madrid over a possible summer transfer.

Raiola will be in England next week to for talks with Manchester United over a transfer for the striker.
