Manchester United have two quality left-backs in Alex Telles and Luke Shaw, and it’s the latter who has owned the position with his remarkable form this season.
The former Porto man has been limited to 7 Premier League appearances this season, as he has often had to watch Shaw start ahead of him.
Telles is not worried about the situation, as the Brazilian has admitted that the club will benefit from the competition between him and Shaw.
“When you’ve got a situation like that, then the team can only benefit from it,” Telles told United’s official website.
“And it’s Man United that wins from that [situation].
“In terms of the two of us, we both motivate each other and push each other further forward and we help each other. That’s really, really important throughout the team, independent of the positions we play.”
