Manchester United transfer target Pau Torres has admitted he has been taking English lessons for at least the past year.
Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing the Villarreal defender this summer.
In an interview with a Spanish newspaper last year, the defender revealed he was learning English.
“In the morning I do the training regime and then I do the food following the guidelines established by the club,” he told El Periodico Mediterraneo.
“In the afternoon, after lunch, I study a few languages because I was learning English and now is a good time to resume it.”
Torres is contracted to Villarreal until 2024, with a release clause of around €60million.
