According to reports, Manchester City are ready to battle Manchester United in the race for Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish.
Grealish was keen on leaving Villa Park last summer as United made a move for the 25-year-old but the midfielder ended up signing a new deal with his boyhood club after the Red Devils were put off by a £75million asking price.
Manchester United still remain interested in signing the Aston Villa captain but the Red Devils are prioritising signing a striker and defender this summer.
That has left the door open for Manchester City, who are now interested in signing the Aston Villa midfielder.
Grealish has been out of action for the last six weeks and Villa have just one of their six matches in his absence, scoring just three times.
