Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn’t seem to be a fan of a player who keeps an outrageous haircut, especially if the player is still a youngster.
Solskjaer isn’t only keen on a player’s ability but his mentality, character and background as well.
Solskjaer has recounted how he decided against signing a player because of his outlandish hairstyle. According to Solskjaer, he had to cut short a scouting trip just because of the player’s haircut.
“I once went to see a player and as he walked out of the dressing room through the tunnel he had a Mohican (hairstyle),” Solskjaer told Sky Sports.
“I said to my scout: ‘Nah let’s go home, not interested.’ That was a very short scouting trip.”
