Anthony Martial had picked up a ‘suspected’ knee injury in France 2-0 victory over Kazakhstan on Sunday.
Martial appeared to have injured himself in the second half as he limped off the field and was replaced by Kylian Mbappe.
It was believed at first that Martial’s international involvement would come to a halt after the injury, and there were fears that it was a big injury.
Martial was expected to return to Manchester United, but France boss Didier Deschamps has called the injury a small problem and has refused to rule Martial out of his side’s World Cup qualifier against Bosnia on Wednesday evening.
“Anthony has a small issue on his knee. Nothing is decided yet,” Deschamps said on Tuesday.
“He won’t be taking part in the training session a bit later. We’ll see tomorrow.
“Anything serious has been dismissed. We’ve run some tests, but there’s still the pain, and having travelled as long as we have, that hasn’t helped.”
