Manchester United will be keen on signing a striker this summer, and the number one name that has been linked with a move to Old Trafford is Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
Signing Haaland will be no mean feat, as United must overcome three hurdles to sign up the Norwegian.
First, United must cough up mouthwatering wages for the 20-year-old, and also a high transfer bid, if they must sign him before the summer of 2022 where his £60m release clause can be triggered.
Secondly, United must be ready to deal with his egoistic agent Mino Raiola, who doesn’t have a good relationship with the club for some years now, mostly due to the way he has handled the Paul Pogba exit rumours.
Finally, United must also convince Haaland that he can achieve success at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, United have an advantage in the race for Erling Haaland, due to the influence of his countryman Olé Gunnar Solskjaer.
Spanish media outlet AS, even claim that Solskjaer is doing everything in his power to recruit the striker he coached at Molde.
The report further claims that Solskjaer is calling Haaland regularly to ensure that he makes the switch to the Theatre of Dreams.
