Manchester United defender Eric Bailly seems to have had enough of sitting on the United bench and is ready to force a move away from Old Trafford.

A recent report by Sky Sports claimed that Bailly would do everything in his means to reject any advance by the club for him to sign a new deal..

Bailly believes he has been disrespected by the club, and according to the Transfer Window Podcast, the Ivorian reacted angrily when he found out he wasn’t going to feature against AC Milan.

The report claims that the 26-year-old has accepted he didn’t handle the situation well and apologised to both the manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his team-mates for his improper behaviour.

Meanwhile, Bailly is still keen to leave the club, with his contract set to expire in the summer of 2022.

“Eric loves the club and the fans, his family are settled in Manchester and he’d like nothing more than to spend the rest of his career at Old Trafford,” a source reportedly told Sky Sports.

“But he feels the club has been very disrespectful towards him and frankly he’s had enough.

“He feels that no matter what he does, he will never be first choice for Ole.

“He now realises he’s too good and too young to spend his time sitting on the bench.”
