Luis Suarez has made his name as one of the greatest South American export, as the Uruguayan international has been a hit for Ajax, Liverpool, Barcelona and now Atletico Madrid.
The Atletico Madrid man has now backed Manchester United’s summer signing Facundo Pellistri to keep doing well.
Pellistri joined Alaves in La Liga in the January transfer window, and his influence has grown in recent weeks, despite having started the first couple of games on the bench. The 19-year-old has now started the last four games and has also impressed.
Pellistri played 90 minutes for the first time this season and impressed against Atletico Madrid, even though his team lost the game.
His countryman Suarez, was full of praise for him after the game and backed him to continue doing well.
Suarez posted a picture of himself and Pellistri on his Instagram story, with a caption that read: “A pleasure @facu_pellistri, continue like this and good things will come.”
Meanwhile, speaking about his move to Spain, Pellistri told ESPN America: “I am very happy despite the rapid changes, faster than I imagined. I was hoping to have a little more time in Manchester, but on the club’s side they have organised what to do with each player.
On his first outings in Spain, he added: “The coach gave me the last two games and he is giving me confidence. My team-mates too.”
