Manchester United legend Paul Scholes believes Manchester United have lacked creativity without Paul Pogba in the team.
“I think they have really struggled to get the balance right over the season,” Scholes told BT Sport.
“I think playing them two holding midfielders has really helped the defence, the two centre-halves – who I don’t think one-on-one are the quickest or the best defenders, but having those two in there has kept them solid.
“They’ve looked really good defensively, but that’s taken away from the forward players I think, the lack of creativity in there. Pogba’s been out for six weeks, he’s a big miss in there.
“They’ve got the defensive side right, but also the attacking side, they’ve really struggled to do that.”
