Ibrahimovic sends warning to Solskjaer after Man Utd beat AC Milan

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has hailed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United team as better than the Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United team he was part of.

However, Ibrahimovic warned Solskjaer that the quality of his team counts for nothing if he doesn’t win a trophy.

When asked how the current Man United team compares to the one he played in, Zlatan Ibrahimovic said: “I think it’s better, it looks better, but it doesn’t matter if you don’t win nothing.

“I think it was better than mine, but I won trophies, that’s the big difference.”

Ibrahimovic came on as a sub as Manchester United beat AC Milan 1-0 at the San Siro on Thursday night.

He added: “I think in two games we did well, we played two good games and we created good chances today, we could and should have scored. Then we make one mistake and we get a goal against us.”
