Manchester United legend Paul Scholes hailed Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba after his performance in Manchester United’s 1-0 victory over AC Milan on Thursday night.
Scholes told BT Sport: “Pogba was really good when he came on. Came into that left-hand side position.
“Showed bits of quality right from the off and livened everybody up. He’s different. He can create. He can score goals.
“They got the job done. I don’t think they were special on the night. Pogba really did make a difference.
“It wasn’t a special performance, it didn’t need a special performance, just a victory. [Dean] Henderson made a great save towards the end [to deny Zlatan Ibrahimovic]. Job done. Quarter-finals.”
