Solskjaer: Why Pogba won’t start against Leicester despite goal against AC Milan

Paul Pogba scored on his injury comeback to help secure a 1-0 victory over AC Milan on Thursday night.

Despite his matchwinning performance against AC Milan, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has doubts about Pogba starting against Leicester City in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Solskjaer does not think Pogba is fit enough to play 90 minutes.

“We have to see how much Paul can play,” Solskjaer said.

“I don’t think he can last 90 minutes, I’m not sure he can start, but you can see the impact he can make if he comes on as a sub.

“If he feels okay maybe we can start him as well. We have to see who the runners and riders are after tonight. It’s been a long travel, we’ll be late back. We’ll see. I hope he’s ready to start.”
