Confirmed: Manchester United’s Europa League quarter-final opponent

Manchester United’s Europa League quarter-final opponents have been confirmed, after Friday’s draw in Switzerland.

The Red Devils beat AC Milan 2-1 on aggregate to progress to the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

Manchester United have been drawn to face La Liga side Granada in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, while Premier League Arsenal will take on Slavia Prague.

Ajax play Roma and Dinamo Zagreb have been drawn against Villarreal in the other quarter-final match-ups.

It will be our first-ever meeting with the Spanish outfit, who are currently embarking on their maiden European campaign and have already played 13 games in this season’s competition, knocking out Napoli and Molde in the rounds of 32 and 16 respectively.

The first leg will take place at Nuevo Los Carmenes Stadium on Thursday 8 April, with the return fixture scheduled at Old Trafford for the following Thursday.
