Paul Pogba scored the winning goal for Manchester United against AC Milan on Thursday night as the Red Devils beat the Italians to advance to the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
Pogba, who had missed United’s previous 10 matches with a thigh injury, came on at half time for Marcus Rashford and scored three minutes after.
Following the victory over AC Milan on Thursday, Bruno Fernandes commended Pogba’s performance by posting a picture of himself with Pogba with the caption: “The Italian Job’ with Mr. @paulpogba. Quarter finals here we come!”
Meanwhile, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted the Red Devils have missed Pogba.
“We’ve missed Paul – he’s been out for almost two months,” Solskjaer said.
“He was just getting into his best form before his injury. He’s going to give us a big boost for the rest of the season.”
