Manchester United winger Shola Shoretire is the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for February.
The 17 year beat the likes of Manchester City striker Liam Delap and Everton forward Nathan Broadhead to win the award.
The teenager scored a hat-trick in the 6-4 win over Blackburn Rovers for Neil Wood’s Under-23 side and has made appearances in the Premier League and Europa League for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s senior team after signing his first professional contract.
Shoretire is the first Reds youngster to win the monthly award this season, although the likes of Joe Hugill and Arnau Puigmal have also previously been nominated.
Shoretire will be hoping to get more first team chances with United in the coming months.
