Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard has impressed since joining West Ham on loan in January.
Lingard, who has been voted West Ham’s Player of the Month for February, has scored 4 goals and provided an assist in 6 Premier League games for West Ham.
Ahead of Sunday’s Premier League game between Manchester United and West Ham at Old Trafford, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted he’s happy to see Lingard succeed at West Ham.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Solskjaer said: “It has really worked out for Jesse Lingard, for David Moyes and for us as a club as well.
“We know Jesse’s position is a 10 and we’ve got Bruno Fernandes there. For me, it was a no-brainer to get Jesse a chance to prove himself.
“He deserved to play some football again. He has been really bright for West Ham. He’s finally back to himself there.”
