Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has revealed what he told Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer about Amad Diallo.
The 18 year old was officially signed in a £37 million deal from Atalanta in January and was handed his first-team debut by Solskjaer last month
The teenager scored his first goal for Manchester United in the 1-1 Europa League draw against AC Milan on Thursday.
Bailly has revealed that he didn’t think twice about recommending his fellow Ivorian to the United manager.
“I knew him before and I remember when manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer talked to me about the guy,” Bailly told Sky Sports.
“I know the guy, he’s very humble. He’s quiet, he doesn’t speak a lot.
“For me, I didn’t think twice. I said to the boss, ‘yes, he’s a good guy, he’s got the talent’.
“Just keep him and everyone will enjoy him for his talent.
“I do everything for him… agent, big brother! It’s okay, I’m happy for him.”
