Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson has received criticism for his failure to save Simon Kjaer’s last minute equaliser as Manchester United drew 1-1 with AC Milan on Thursday night.
Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves feels it is now a question of how Henderson bounces back and has urged Solskjaer to support the goalkeeper.
Hargreaves told BT Sport: “Every goalkeeper has made mistakes…you only really know players until they make mistakes.
“I think if he just stands still he catches it. He’s confident, he’s smart and he knows he has to save that if he’s going to be in goal for Manchester United.
“They did the right thing bringing Dean Henderson back. Up to this point he’s been perfect, this is the first mistake that he’s made.
“Ole’s going to support him, he’s made a mistake, that position is very unforgiving. I think he’ll bounce back, it’s a learning curve for him today.”
