Manchester United forward Anthony Martial was replaced at half-time by Amad Diallo in the 1-1 draw against AC Milan after suffering a hip injury.
Martial’s replacement, Diallo, put United ahead within five minutes of the restart with a brilliant header before Simon Kjaer grabbed crucial away goal for AC Milan in stoppage time after heading past Dean Henderson.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is downbeat about Martial’s chances of being fit for this weekend’s clash against West Ham.
“It’s a whack on the hip. It’s another scan we need to look at,” said Solskjaer.
“I don’t think he will be ready for Sunday. Edinson’s not [ready] for Sunday [either].”
