Manchester United legend Roy Keane has hailed Manchester United for showing character in the 2-0 victory over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The Red Devils ended City’s 21-game winning run.
Speaking about Man United after the Manchester Derby win, Roy Keane told Sky Sports: “We said it earlier in the season: could they be the best of the rest? I think they’ve proved today that they can be.
“Excellent, Ole simplified everything, back to playing the ‘pass forward quickly, counter-attack, space’; everything panned out the way he wanted it to.
“Again, huge credit to United, they had a bit of swagger about them, they did have a helping hand but they certainly took advantage of that, they showed a bit of character.”
