Marcus Rashford was in fine form against Manchester City, and assisted Luke Shaw’s goal five minutes after the restart, to help seal a 2-0 win for the club.
However, the 23-year-old left the pitch injured, as he hurt his ankle with 20 minutes left of the game.
Speaking after the game on Sunday, United boss Olé Gunnar Solskjaer couldn’t give an update on Rashford, as he admitted that he will have to undergo a scan first.
There were fears that Rashford would have ligament damage, but after undergoing a scan on Monday, it was revealed that he has not suffered such extensive damage, the Telegraph report.
However, Rashford may not return to the pitch immediately, as his ankle got swollen and he couldn’t step on it as at the report on Monday.
Rashford remains a major doubt for Thursday’s Europa League clash with AC Milan, but he could be available to face West Ham during the weekend.
