With the Manchester City game done and dusted, Olé Gunnar Solskjaer will have his eyes now fixed on the Europa League game against AC Milan on Thursday night.
However, there’s a slight injury worry for Marcus Rashford heading into this tie.
Rashford, who assisted Luke Shaw in the 50th minute against City, seemed to have injured his ankle 20 minutes later.
Solskjaer will be sweating to have Rashford fit for AC Milan on Thursday, but admitted that the 22-year-old forward will need to undergo a scan before he’s able to ascertain whether he’d play against Milan or not.
Asked about the severity of Rashford’s injury at his post-match press conference, Solskjaer said: “I don’t know. It’s something with his ankle
“When he sprinted 70 yards to save a goal, it showed the attitude of the boy.
“I think he went over on his ankle but we need to do a scan, I’ve not had time to speak to the doctor yet.”
