Eric Bailly has sent a message of hope to the fans, following the goalless draw against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.
Manchester United failed to capitalise on Leicester City’s draw against Burnley, to send themselves three points ahead, and cut the deficit between United and Manchester City as the end of the season approaches.
The result has left us trailing our city rivals by 14 points, with United set to face Manchester City at the Etihad stadium this weekend.
However, Bailly has asked that the fans be patient and continue to support the club, as he admitted the result wasn’t what was expected.
Taking to Instagram after the game, the Ivorian wrote, “Obstacles are there to overcome. Our vision doesn’t change, trust the process!”
If United lose this weekend, we may face a battle to remain in the top four, with many teams already closing in on us.
