Bayern Munich chief Herbert Hainer has warned Manchester United that his side have the spending power to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland this summer.
Manchester United are keen on signing the Norwegian international this summer.
Bayern Munich have built a reputation for cherry-picking the best players from their domestic league and signing Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig, they have warned they can sign Haaland ahead of other suitors.
Hainer, while pointing to the recent capture of Upamecano, told Sport 1: “We will go even more down our successful path of signing young players with outstanding skills.
“We are an economically very strong and healthy club.
“Although we’re also suffering massively from the pandemic, we can always bring in players when we’re convinced about them.”
