Manchester United second choice goalkeeper Dean Henderson has received praise and appreciation form Olé Gunnar Solskjaer for his superb performance during the goalless draw against Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
The Englishman, who was a surprise inclusion on the starting eleven, showed great concentration to deny Palace a late goal, and ensure we shared the spoils at Selhurst Park.
And Solskjaer has revealed his happiness with the save, as he also hinted the 23 year old could feature more in the coming days.
Speaking after the game, the Norwegian said, “That’s [how it is for] a Man United goalkeeper sometimes, you have to keep your concentration and he’s growing into that position.
“It was a great save, I didn’t know if the player was off [side] or not, but Dean showed good concentration and good reactions so I thank him for one point and not zero, well done.”
