Manchester United will be aiming to close the gap on Manchester City when we play Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening.
The Red Devils currently trail the league leaders by 15 points, following their 4-1 win over Wolverhampton on Tuesday.
And BBC pundit, Mark Lawrenson believes that in spite of United’s lack of quality against Chelsea, they have what it takes to beat Palace.
Speaking ahead of the game, he said: “Crystal Palace have not played particularly well in either of their past two games but they picked up four points in total and they are probably only one win away from safety now.
“I don’t see them getting it against Manchester City, though. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side didn’t go all out for the win at Chelsea on Sunday but that was because a [0-0] draw was a decent result for them.
“They played against a team looking to close the gap on them. This will be different. United started their season by losing at home to Palace but they are much better on the road and I think they will get their own back at Selhurst Park.”
Lawrenson’s final prediction: Crystal Palace 0-2 Manchester United
