Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given an injury update on the fitness of four United stars — Edinson Cavani, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata and Phil Jones, ahead of the Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.
The Norwegian has confirmed the Uruguayan trained with the United squad on Tuesday before the game and had no new injury concerns.
Speaking about Edinson Cavani’s fitness, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “Edi has trained this morning and hopefully there is no reaction.
“There are another couple of knocks that we have to look at, from after the [Chelsea] game, and from the season’s wear and tear.
“It looks good. Edi has got the desire and hunger and, of course, he wants to join in, even if it’s from the bench. Hopefully he’ll say tomorrow that there’s been no reaction.”
The United boss also confirmed that Paul Pogba will miss the game due to injury, and also the same with Phil Jones and Juan Mata.
