Following the goalless draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, Manchester United have now gone 20 games unbeaten away from home.

It’s the joint-fifth-longest run without an away defeat in top-flight history, the only longer runs coming from Arsenal (27 and 23), Liverpool (21) and Nottingham Forest (21).

The run started against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last season, with Manchester United winning 13 games and drawing just 7.

Meanwhile, both games against Chelsea this season have ended in goalless draws.

This season is the second time the Manchester United vs Chelsea fixture has finished goalless in both matches in a league campaign. The other occasion was the 1921/22 season.
