Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani has hinted he is close to returning to full fitness and on a possible return back to first-team action after the club’s goalless draw against Chelsea on Sunday.
The Uruguayan was sorely missed in our game against the Blues as we lacked cutting edge in attack.
The 34-year-old has also missed the last three matches for the Red Devils due to a muscle injury and even failed to even make the substitutes bench at Stamford Bridge.
With United’s next two games away against Crystal Palace and title rivals Manchester City, the striker provided a positive update on his fitness on Sunday night.
“Looking forward to coming back soon,” he told his followers on Instagram.
So far, the Uruguay international has scored six goals and provided two assists in the Premier League this season.
