‘These three weeks are going to be massive for us’— Solskjaer, on United’s upcoming fixtures

Manchester United’s next five games may have a huge impact on the direction our season will take, according to the manager Olé Gunnar Solskjaer.

United have progressed to the round of 16 of the 2020/21 Europa League, after an aggregate 4-0 win over Real Sociedad.

The Red Devils are also still second in the Premier League, but with massive games against the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City coming up in the next week, Solskjaer has admitted the need for his team to be more focused.

Speaking on the upcoming games after United’s game against Sociedad on Thursday, the Norwegian said, “Now until the international break, I think we have six or seven games – we have Chelsea, Leicester and West Ham – all important games, so these three weeks now are going to be massive for us.”

If United win all their upcoming games, it could reduce the gap between United and City massively before the end of March, but the team must now be focused, starting with Sunday’s clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
