Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has hailed Shola Shoretire’s performance in the game between Manchester United and Real Sociedad on Thursday.
The teenager came in during the final 15 minutes of the game, replacing Mason Greenwood, who had started.
Shoretire also showed some wonderful skills on the ball during the cameo, as he became the youngest player to make a debut for United in a European competition.
After the game, Solskjaer was very pleased with the teenager, and hinted he (Shoretire) will enjoy more game time in the future.
“Shola has got some skills and attributes we think will make him a very good player here,” the Norwegian said.
“A platform tonight, just 15 minutes, something to build upon.”
