Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has given an update on the fitness levels of Paul Pogba and a few other players, ahead of Manchester United’s meeting with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this Sunday.
Pogba recently returned to training at Carrington, after missing the last couple of games, but the United boss still believes he isn’t ready for the London trip.
Solskjaer also gave an update on the extent of injury suffered by Daniel James, after the winger’s substitution during the game against Real Sociedad on Thursday.
According to the Norwegian, James’ situation would have to be assessed before the weekend, as he hinted Donny van de Beek, Scott McTominay and Edinson Cavani could all be available for Sunday’s clash.
He said on BT Sport, “Paul Pogba is still out for a few weeks.
“Scott McTominay, Donny van de Beek and Edinson Cavani could be available for the weekend. We will have to check on Daniel James.”
