Manchester United will be without six senior players for today’s Europa League game against Real Sociedad.
Manchester United are favourites to progress to the next round after beating Real Sociedad 4-0 in the first-leg.
Scott McTominay, Donny van de Beek and Edinson Cavani and Paul Pogba are unavailable for selection against Real Sociedad.
McTominay came off injured in the first leg last week, while Cavani and Van de Beek missed the wins over Sociedad and Newcastle with muscular injuries.
Pogba is getting closer to full recovery but will not be available for selection until next week at the earliest.
“No, still out,” Solskjaer said of McTominay, Van de Beek and Cavani. “Still not trained enough or joined in, it will be more or less the same squad as Newcastle.”
“Paul has been outside on the grass and is starting to step up his recovery but he’s not near the team for this game.”
Phil Jones, out since June with a knee injury, will not feature against Sociedad while Sergio Romero has not been named in United’s Europa League squad.
