Rashford explains why Manchester United should forget about Manchester City

Marcus Rashford has said he doesn’t care about Manchester City’s form this year, as he backed Manchester United to keep improving and getting better.

The Citizens have been on a roll this term, winning an astounding 18 games across all competitions.

Pep Guardiola’s men currently have a 10 point gap between them and us on the Premier League table, and when asked recently what he thought about them, Rashford insisted it’s pointless to worry about them, as he’s instead focused on his own club.

In his own words: “We have to concentrate on ourselves and our performances.

“I think we’ve said all season that we’re a team that’s still improving, learning lessons about ourselves every game.

“Manchester City’s winning run? We have to concentrate on ourselves and keep giving the best version of us. Ultimately that’s going to make us win the games.”

United will face City in the league on March 7, and will have a chance to cut the deficit to 7 points, but first, we will have to beat Chelsea this weekend, with the Blues yet to suffer defeat since Thomas Tuchel took over.
