Romelu Lukaku has put to bed rumours he isn’t on good terms with Manchester United boss Gunnar Solskjaer, following his departure from Manchester United.
The Belgian striker left Old Trafford in 2019, after a rumoured falling out with the coach, who took over from José Mourinho.
Lukaku had fallen down the pecking order under Solskjaer, and fueled reports he wasn’t happy with the treatment he received, after missing training in a bid to force a move away.
However, the former Chelsea man has insisted all is good and well between he and Solskjaer, as he said he also wishes the Norwegian nothing but success in his work.
In a reply to a fan during a Twitter Q&A session, he wrote, “He is doing great.
“You guys have to know I love him as a manager and as a person and I wish him nothing but the best.”
Lukaku has flourished as a forward since joining Inter Milan in the summer of 2019, and oftentimes, opposition fans have taunted United with his success.
