Marcus Rashford has taken a major step toward reaching a legendary status at Manchester United.
The Englishman has now reached 85 goals for United, after bagging one during the 3-1 win over Newcastle on Sunday.
Rashford is now on the same number of goals for the Red Devils as the legendary David Beckham, who of course retired many years ago, and left Manchester United for Real Madrid in 2003.
It shows the amount of progress he’s making and how far he’s come from his academy days.
Meanwhile, the 23 year old has expressed delight in reaching the milestone, as he took to Twitter to share a message to the fans after the game on Sunday.
The tweet read, “Joined some great company tonight, matching Becks record. Happy Sunday everyone”.
Congratulations, Rashy. And here’s hoping for more from you!
