Good news as up to 10,000 fans to be allowed back into stadiums

Up to 10,000 football fans will be allowed into stadiums in England for the final Premier League game of the season, it has been officially announced.

Most teams in England are yet to have fans watch them play since March 2020, when the 2019/20 season was suspended.

A number of teams were allowed to host up to 2,000 fans toward the end of last year, before the second wave of coronavirus forced things to be changed again.

But it has now been confirmed that fans will return to stadiums before the end of the Premier League season in a few months time.

More than 40,000 capacity stadiums will be allowed to host up to 10,000 fans, while those below 40,000 will be allowed to fill a quarter of their seats.

However, with United’s last game of the season coming away at Wolves, fans may have to wait untill the next campaign before they return to Old Trafford.
