Gary Neville mocks Liverpool after defeat to Everton

Gary Neville is not a fan of Liverpool, and the man doesn’t know how to hide it!

Liverpool were beaten by Everton 2-0 at Anfield over the weekend, to condemn the champions to another home defeat in 2021.

The victory ensures that Jürgen Klopp’s side continue to languish outside the top four, and that seemed to please Neville, who’s a known Manchester United supporter, being an ex- player himself.

After the game, the former Valencia boss took to his Twitter to share a video of himself sipping on a glass of wine, as he added the caption, “It’s been very difficult in lockdown, I mean meltdown, I mean lockdown! To see the demise of the great champions.”

Of course that was a mockery of the Reds’ situation at the moment, but we can’t blame Neville at all— they have been very awful champions by a lot of standards.
