Manchester United are making plans to lose one of their goalkeepers come the end of the current campaign, according to a report by The Sun.
The two goalkeepers are yet to really establish themselves so far this season, as problems in that department continue to worry the coaching staff.
The club’s hierarchy is believed to be eyeing cutting down on costs, with De Gea and Henderson earning a lot as it stands.
There have also been issues behind the scenes as regards who will be number one at Old Trafford, according to the report.
There are plans to loan out one of the two goalies at the end of the season for at least, one year, and it’s likely going to be Henderson, unless he’s able to beat De Gea to the number one spot over the coming months.
If that is the case, De Gea may have to look elsewhere, as the club is also believed to be searching for a top shotstopper, who will be happy to play backup.
