‘United will put pressure on Man City’ — Solskjaer vows

Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has maintained that Manchester City will not have an easy stroll to the Premier League title this season, despite their current form.

The Citizens are yet to lose a game in 2021, and are currently 10 points ahead of Man United, who are in second place in the title race.

But Solskjaer insists United will keep pressuring them until the end, and it’s important his team maintains a good run of wins if we’re to do so.

He’s quoted by ESPN as saying, “I don’t think anyone would say they’re not going to go for it.

“We’re going to go for a win every single game we play, of course, we are.

“We’re second and of course your ambition then is to not end any lower than that. We’re going to have to get a good run together if we’re going to put pressure on City and that should start on Sunday [against Newcastle].”

Now may be a good time to face Newcastle, with the Magpies having lost their last game 2-0 to Chelsea, and have been in terrible form over the past month.
