Manchester United boss Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted that Amad Diallo and Shola Shoretire could both get to play for Manchester United when we take on Real Sociedad on Thursday evening.
Both youth players have been included in United’s travelling squad for the first time in their Man United careers, and could be given some minutes, with key players like Donny van de Beek, Edinson Cavani and Paul Pogba all missing the game.
While speaking on the reason for their inclusions in the squad, Solskjaer noted that they’re there to play and we can expect anything to happen.
He said, “They’re not in the travelling squad just for the experience.
“They’re there to make an impact if they have to. Maybe they’ll get their chance before we expect.”
Amad Diallo has dazzled for United’s youth side since his arrival from Atalanta in January, and it’d be interesting to see what he brings to the main team.
