See where Man United would be in the Premier League without Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Fernandes has emphatically helped Manchester United since he arrived from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020.

The Portuguese has been involved in 38 goals in as many games, and has earned most of the points we have managed to garner this season.

Twitter users, @Vintage_UTD recently drew analysis of the type of impact Fernandes has had on United since his arrival, and the result is admittedly disturbing.

Take a look at the stats below:

  • 24 games played.
  • 6 games won.
  • 9 games drawn.
  • 9 games lost.
  • 26 goals scored.
  • 15th in the league.

What this means is that without Fernandes, United would not be second, and we’d probably be staring down at relegation this season.

Of course, it is still arguable because we never slipped to that level in previous seasons, but his arrival has improved the team a lot, and anyone who’s honest would admit that.
