Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes has said that Bruno Fernandes had a bad game against West Brom on Sunday.
United came from behind to draw level with the hosts, after going down to a disappointing early goal from Mbaye Diagne.
Bruno Fernandes was the man that got the goal— latching on to a sensational cross from Luke Shaw, to volley home.
However, Scholes is adamant the Portuguese was below average by his standards, although he hailed his impact as always.
He told Man United’s official podcast, “Bruno Fernandes’ record is sensational really and he was actually having a bad game against West Brom.
“He was giving the ball away an awful lot, which he does in games anyway because he plays with that element of risk and as a Man United midfielder you should always have that.
“But he is capable of creating goals and creating special moments in games, and the Hawthorns game was no different. It was a great goal.”
