Despite reports in Italy claiming AC Milan want to quickly resolve Diogo Dalot’s future, Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the club will actually wait until the end of the season before making a decision.
Dalot has been impressive with the Rossoneri up until his last game, and the Italian side are interested in making his loan move permanent.
In 18 league appearances so far, the Portuguese has netted once, while proving a key element in Stefano Pioli’s side.
Several outlets in Italy have reported that Milan want to pay up the £15 million fee required to acquire his services permanently, but that is rather unlikely for now.
As it stands, Dalot is likely to return to Old Trafford at the end of the season, after which his future would be figured out.
