Premier League legend, Alan Shearer has predicted how he expects the top four of the competition to look like at the end of the ongoing season.
Manchester City are currently leading the pack, with a seven point advantage over Manchester United, who are in second.
But Shearer believes that while City are likely to win it, Man United and Liverpool are the likeliest to fall out of the top four in the end.
He told Premier League Productions, “City to win it. I think Chelsea, I do think Leicester – really impressed with them. Either Manchester United or Liverpool to miss out, if you push me, I think Liverpool could.
“I just think defensively, they look all over the place. They have put a youngster in, the new signing. It’s a big ask for him to come in and shore up that defence.”
City still have a game in hand, and if they win it, they’ll be ten points clear of United. Meanwhile, Olé Gunnar Solskjaer must ensure his side starts winning games moving forward, otherwise, Shearer’s prediction could just come to pass!
