West Brom manager Sam Allardyce has claimed his side could easily have won against Manchester United.
The former England manager rued his side’s missed chances against the Red devils as the Baggies picked up their 13th point of the season on Sunday.
Speaking to BBC Sport after Sunday’s 1-1 draw, West Brom boss Sam Allardyce said: “I’m pleased with the overall performance and tactics of the team. The players didn’t let their heads down when Manchester United scored with their only shot on target in the first half.
“It was a fantastic point – a game we could have easily won on chances created. It’s brilliant the way we controlled the element of Man United’s threat. The only chance they had on target [in the first half] was the goal. Our big man scored a great goal and we could have had three.”
The draw at Hawthorns means we are now 7 points behind Manchester City who have a game in hand.
